Mary Berry's Bubbalicious Valerie Cupcake

At Mary Berry's, each flavor is represented with a girls name. Vanilla is Valerie, Red Velvet is Rachel Violette, and Chocolate is Charlotte. This cupcake had an icing made out of Bubbalicious Bubble Gum with a vanilla cake. I loved it because the icing was sticky and chewy like bubble gum, but it still had that flavor. And that beautiful bright pink icing! Yum! Tip: Send me a dozen!

Doggie Dayz Fetch Cupcake

No, we didn't eat dog food! All of Doggie Dayz proceeds go to our local Humane Society. This one was a yellow cake with icing made to look like a tennis ball. (to represent a dog fetching a tennis ball!) it was so cute! I loved the icing! Tip: make the cake sweeter!

VEGAN Baby Boomer's Peas and Carrots Cupcakes

Baby Boomer's is a cupcake shop in Stone Harbor. This store that I went to is their vegan store- there is also a gluten free store. This cake was carrot cake, and the icing was peas! It sounds G-R-O-S-S. But my, my. It was extraordinary! The icing was soooooo sweet! Tip: don't tell your kids about it, or they'll use it as an excuse to "eat their vegetables"!

Cupcake Emporium's Coconut Creme cake with Chocolate Icing

I hate coconut. Ew. But my friend made me try this one. Oh my stars. It was amazinggg. It tasted like an Almond Joy! The toasted coconut on top made it 10x better!
Tip: Ignore my rules of how to properly eat a cupcake. Instead, use the sandwich method. Take off 1/2 of the bottom of the cake. Put it on top of the icing. YUM.

Love Song Cupcakes' Red Hot Love

Love Song Cupcakes is an online cupcake business that I love! Last spring break, I was going to Seaside, FL. On the way there, we decided to stop in Destin (where Love Songs headquarters is). I called from Gulf Shores to order the cupcakes, and they had just finished icing them when we got to the little shop in Destin.

I ate the Red Hot Love cupcake! It's a chocolate cake with a Red Hots candy icing. My, my it was amazing! The cake was so moist and yummy! Tip: make the icing less spicy. It'll burn your mouth if you eat it all at once like I did!

Creative Cake's Chocolate Cupcake

Creative Cakes is a small town business in Tupelo, Mississippi. All of my birthday cakes, graduation cakes, etc., came from this place. I have eaten many a cupcake, trust me, but the best will always be made at this little shop in East Tupelo!
So....the chocolate cupcake. Here's how I eat a cupcake: 1. Flip it upside down, with the icing laying on the cupcake liner. 2. Eat the cake. 3. Now you get the best part, the icing!
Creative Cakes icing....ahhhhhhhh. Ya know how you felt when you learned how to ride a bike with no training wheels? That's how this icing will make you feel!

I don't care where you live, this little bakery is worth the trip!

Gigi's Scarlett's Red Velvet Cupcake

In my opinion, Gigi's is not all it's made out to be. I'm a huge red velvet fan. But this was...eek. It was heavy, and the icing was nothing spectacular. I think this was like all of Gigi's cupcakes: they look better than they taste. Don't waste your money on this one!
The best part: The white chocolate heart on top!
The worst part: The cake and icing. (It sounds mean, but it's true!)
